Elon Didn’t Reinstate My Twitter Account
Elon Musk is a member in good standing with the global elite.
Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, bought Twitter and said those of us banished to the social media hinterland will be reinstated. I’m still waiting.
Yes, interesting, so long as you don’t mention Ukraine. All it took was one post pointing out an irrefutable fact. There are neo-Nazi thugs in Ukraine, in the government and military, and Biden and Congress have sent them billions of dollars. Mentioning this truth resulted in a permanent ban.
So much for promises. “Mr Musk reluctantly bought the company for $44bn and promised to protect free speech on the platform at all costs, allowing the return of banned users such as former president Donald Trump,” reported the Independent.
I was kicked off months ago. No removal of the permanent ban after Musk took over. I’m still out here in the social media hinterland. Ukraine is still a taboo subject, that is unless you enthusiastically support the Nazis and their ethnic cleansing agenda. If you put that little blue and yellow flag on your social media account, you’re in support of Ukronazi psychopaths killing pregnant ethnic Russians. It’s that simple.
Look, Musk is a rat. He’s not an alt-right savior, as some folks foolishly believe. He will not protect “free speech,” an archaic notion rapidly disappearing in America. Elon’s a narcissist. He likes attention. Buying Twitter and creating a ruckus keeps him in the news. According to Alan MacLeod:
Musk has deliberately cultivated this image of himself: a real life Tony Stark figure who thinks for himself and is not part of the established order. But behind this carefully constructed façade, Musk is intimately connected to the U.S. national security state, serving as one of its most important business partners. Elon, in short, is no threat to the powerful, entrenched elite: he is one of them.
Musk enjoys a symbiotic relationship with the most violent and dangerous organization in the world—the USG Pentagon. Defense One notes:
The Air Force and the Pentagon’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA, were among the [SpaceX’s] first and most critical backers. Contracts from the DARPA Falcon program in 2005 and NASA's Commercial Orbital Transportation Services program in 2006 helped the company produce its profitable Dragon spacecraft and Falcon 9 rocket. Musk himself has noted NASA contracts' importance to the company’s survival. All this government money has helped SpaceX move faster than the rest of the private satellite-launch market. And SpaceX has emerged as a major player in virtually every area where the military uses space.
It can be said, without exaggeration, that Musk has played a role in the murder of civilians in the Donbas.
The satellite communications provided by Musk’s company are playing a major role in the fight against Russia’s invading forces in Ukraine. From Donetsk to Frankfurt, Starlink is enabling Ukraine’s rapid use of intelligence to out maneuver Russian forces and connecting Ukrainians with weapons maintainers and suppliers to quickly bring damaged weapons back online and bring replacements in.
In other words, Musk is assisting neo-Nazis in the illegal bombardment of “terrorist” men, women, and children (for the crime of Russian ethnicity) in Donetsk and Luhansk. He is facilitating the murder of innocents.
“The Ukrainian armed forces bombed the territory of Donetsk 41 times over the past 24 hours, and fired 186 rounds of ammunition in the Kalininsky district of Gorlovka, killing civilians,” the Joint Ceasefire Control and Coordination Center in the Donetsk People's Republic reported on December 8.
MacLeod is correct. Elon Musk is a member in good standing (more or less, despite his personality) with the global elite. He is not a savior or advocate of free speech, as so many on the “right” believe. It is not likely he will reinstate Donald Trump’s account. However, if he does, to will not be in the name of liberty and freedom of speech, as (formerly) guaranteed by the Constitution’s Bill of Rights. It will be to further draw attention to himself. A narcissistic sociopath needs constant attention and admiration. The crime of assisting neo-Nazis in their drive to murder and ethnically cleanse Russians does not cross his pathologically self-centered radar screen.
No, my account will not be reinstated. I committed an unpardonable sin. I told the truth about Ukraine, a truth ignored by what is a war propaganda corporate media. Despite all the misplaced kudos and celebration on the “right” after Musk paid top dollar for Twitter, the authoritarian knee-jerk reaction will continue at Twitter. The “left” will be on the receiving end. It’s almost humorous to hear their pathetic wails and consternation. Elon is eager to play the partisan game.
But don’t think Elon Musk will be the corrective Twitter has long needed. Twitter will remain a tightly controlled medium where politically incorrect behavior (in regard to the action of the state) will be dealt with in a definitive manner: suspension and banishment for those who tell the truth about USG foreign policy and the very real prospect of WWIII and nuclear annihilation.
Elon Didn’t Reinstate My Twitter Account
To be honest at this point it likely does not have anything to do with Ukraine-Russia conflict politics. I've seen other critical tweets flying unabated. Trump did get re-instated in the end.
Other notable people in niche circles have still been banned while others more notable people have been unbanned. Steve Kirsch, Robert Malone, Naomi Wolf still banned for example despite the COVID/medical misinformation policy being completely reversed while some others in their circle also unbanned. Peter McCullough was also banned until just today or yesterday because others kept on tweeting about McCullough's ban. So it's likely you'll just have to appeal to Elon Musk's ego and get others to keep tweeting at him why you're still banned.
On the other hand you are right about the so-called "free speech" is somewhat a charade. More accurately I would say it's freer-than-Twiitter 1.0 but not truly free as fully legally allowable (also incorporating Sec 230 protections). Alex Jones will forever be explicitly banned and recently Kanye West also personally suspended by Elon for example, despite a misunderstanding and use of Twitter 1.0 tactics in assigning threats of violence where there is none, basically in tweeting out the Raelian cult symbol and Kanye's provocations to reexamine history; some of his conclusions I don't necessarily agree with, but that's besides the point. I suspect in that case it's largely to do reputation and his major financiers and advertisers
Edit: ok, just now Robert Malone account's was also re-instated, while the ohters mentioned are still banned. Looks like it not an automatic process and requires human review by the looks of it It's definitely not an across the board blanket reversal like Elon made it out to be
Valid points about Musk's deep financial ties to the network, but he's only been in charge of Twitter for a few weeks and has a major mess to clean up. He made a good start by sacking some of the top-tier partisan operatives, releasing some of the incriminating internal emails, etc.
Ban pedophiles and riot organizers. Allow civil political discussion and criticism. Total opposite of the recent policy. Once the shakeout is done, more of the previously blocked accounts will likely be restored.
Now, about that free satellite service for the Ukro-nazis...
