French MEP Moves to Sanction Journalists
Governments working to criminalize, sanction, imprison, and assassinate critics of globalist narratives.
A French Member of the European Parliament (MEP) is demanding observers and journalists be sanctioned for overseeing and reporting on the referendums in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, according to The Grayzone.
“MEP Nathalie Loiseau of France is lobbying for individual sanctions on all observers of the Russian-organized referendums in the Donbass region,” write Max Blumenthal and Anya Parampil.
A French Member of European Parliament (MEP), Natalie Loiseau, has delivered a letter to EU High Representative of Foreign Affairs, Joseph Borrell, demanding the European Union place personal sanctions on all international observers of the recent votes in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and certain Russian-controlled territories in eastern Ukraine.
The letter states that “as elected members of the European Parliament, [we] demand that all those who voluntarily assisted in any way the organization of these illegitimate referendums be individually targeted and sanctioned.”
The EU apparatchik focused her wrath on Vanessa Beeley, a British activist predictably described by the Wikipedia revisionist history project as being “known for sharing conspiracy theories and disinformation about the Syrian civil war and about the Syrian volunteer organisation the White Helmets.”
For the establishment and its servile propaganda instruments such as Wikipedia and a handful of other “news organizations,” including France 24, any information outside the official narrative bubble represents lies and cynical manipulation.
Loiseau will not rest until those reporting information contrary to narratives spun by the state are punished by way of sanctions, in other words denying those reporting truthful information the ability to live normal lives (the “sanctions” have yet to be determined).
Beeley told The Grayzone: “Imposing sanctions on global citizens for bearing witness to a legal process that reflects the self-determination of the people of Donbass is fascism. Should the EU proceed with this campaign, I believe there will be serious consequences because the essence of freedom of speech and thought is under attack.”
Beeley’s characterization of EU fascism is not difficult to document.
“The anti-democratic bias in the EU is a function of its design.,” writes Andrew Alexander for Oxford Royale. “Governance institutions are created to coordinate between member states in relatively simple areas with limited resistance. As the bureaucratic apparatus grows, and initial tasks become accomplished, the bureaucracy begins to push into more complex, sensitive areas,” as it has in this case.
The European democratic model has become a corporate one thanks to the EU. In return for the services the union provides, particularly for peace in our time, the public is prepared to give up its democratic grip. The important decisions in EU life are made away from public scrutiny and by figures and institutions which are poorly understood and little captured by the democratic process. The argument against a pan-European superpower was always that its subject peoples would suffer from a lack of say over how they were run – we are now in the situation where this has happened, and while dissent is growing, the harsh truth is that the subject peoples never quite cared enough about democracy to reverse the process.
The “peace in our time” claim is absurd on its face. The EU and NATO are not interested in peace, as the effort to kill Russians in eastern Ukraine amply demonstrates.
The internet is flush with articles denouncing any attempt to expose the true nature of the so-called White Helmets in Syria. In the West, they have been portrayed in media coverage with all the professionalism of a soap advertisement.
According to Mint Press News:
The White Helmets have achieved an almost cult-like status thanks to a diverse, well-oiled and multilaterally-funded support system. Their pictures adorn the front pages of most corporate media sites whenever Syria is mentioned. Their unprecedented success can be attributed to a top-drawer PR campaign — one that has been maintained to the highest standards ever since the White Helmets became the public face of “first responders” in Syria following their establishment in March 2013.

However, it is not simply the EU that has thrown money at the White Helmets. The US is also complicit, as the geopolitical illiterate Donald Trump demonstrated:

The “Don” (as in Mafia boss), as Trump is not routinely called by OCD Democrats, was merely following the “advice” of his neocon “advisers.”
“Contrary to what its multi-million dollar international PR campaign would have you believe, the ‘White Helmets’ are not a group of volunteer search-and-rescue workers that sprang spontaneously out of the Syrian soil,” explains James Corbett. “When you peel back the layers of foreign financing and reveal the foreign intelligence operatives and murky lobbying groups at the heart of the organization, what you find is that the White Helmets are, in fact, a propaganda construct.”
Beeley, who was on the ground in East Aleppo, discovered that the White Helmets “were working hand in hand with [Al] Nusra Front. Their centers in each district were always next door to Nusra Front headquarters and White Helmet centres, i.e., they always formed an integrated complex.”
As then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton knows all too well, the US funded and assisted murderous Wahhabi terror groups in Syria following the engineered takedown of Libya and the brutal murder of Gaddafi. The transfer of weapons and crazed jihadist serial murderers to the horrific battlefields of Syria was facilitated by the CIA.
Beeley’s revelations seriously irritated MEP apparatchik Natalie Loiseau.

But let’s get back on track. The EU “parliamentarian” Loiseau has underscored the ongoing push by the EU effort to muzzle any information beyond what it and the western propaganda media put out. The average European has little chance of correcting this situation:
…the European Parliament has very limited powers: for starters, unlike national parliaments, it doesn’t even have the power to initiate legislation. This is a power uniquely reserved for the EU’s “executive” arm, the European Commission — the closest thing to a European “government” — which avows itself “completely independent,” promising “neither to seek nor to take instructions from any government or from any other institution, body, office or entity”… This alone sets the EU firmly apart from any meaningful democratic tradition.
There is that word again, “democratic.” Not only is the EU undemocratic, but the entire West is anything but democratic (it is closer to fascism than democracy). The elite does whatever it wants, when it wants, unless it is stymied by embarrassing revelations on its true intention on a number of issues—and that is why autocratic control freaks like Nathalie Loiseau and a passel of like-minded authoritarians are busy trying to erect barriers to truth, in fact working to sanction and criminalize any such revelations.
Prime example: the torture and imprisonment of Julian Assange, a brave individual that most Americans don’t care about or, to a large degree, are completely ignorant of his existence and medieval treatment. Others, especially in the United States, and including “elected” representatives, want to have the man assassinated for revealing the barbarity and criminality of the US war machine. Assange’s revelations of US war crimes were considered so serious by the national security state, the CIA discussed having him assassinated.
“It’s time to call out WikiLeaks for what it really is, a non-state hostile intelligence service often abetted by state actors like Russia,” declared then CIA director and former tank commander Mike Pompeo, a man who wants to be your next president.
It can not longer be denied that like the Nazi SS before them, the governments of the West are working on a structure that will criminalize, sanction, and possibly imprison, drive insane (as in the case of Assange), or outright assassinate all critics of the globalist regime.
This step is of primary importance to those that would have you live in the dark, be surveilled 24/7, and dine on insects, that is if your social-political credit score is acceptable.
