Ultranationalist terrorists attempt to disrupt referendum.
It is sincerely astounding how transparent the corporate media reports—and in the case that follows—does not report about the war in Ukraine.
For instance:
No doubt this war crime, as stipulated within the “Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War,” is intended to terrorize civilians in Donetsk and elsewhere in eastern and southeastern Ukraine as they prepare to vote to exit the nazified remainder of the country.
The Russian-hating psychopaths in Kyiv and their NATO “advisers,” are apparently so cognitively impaired they do not realize such brutality, illegal under international law, will more than likely force the hand of those sitting on the fence in regard to dispossessing the Donbas from the Stepan Bandera worshipping neo-nazis “fatherland” itching to torture and kill any person with the slightest hint of Russian ethnicity.
These sadistic extremists, joyous in their murder of old women and babies, are determined to interrupt referendums in the Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions.
The ultranationalists intimated that Zelenskyy would be assassinated if he abided by the Minsk agreements and the so-called “Steinmeier Formula” that calls for elections in the ethnic Russian regions of Donetsk and Lugansk. The agreements also call for the neo-Nazi battalions to pull back from the Donbas.
In short order, the ethnic Russian regions of the Ukraine will vote to become part of Russia, and in the event the neo-Nazi-infested Ukrainian army continues its attacks on civilians in the Donbas, Russian President Putin will consider this an attack on Russia proper and will respond accordingly.
We are entering a very dangerous phase of the war. “Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev said on Thursday that any weapons in Moscow's arsenal, including strategic nuclear weapons, could be used to defend territories incorporated in Russia from Ukraine,” Reuters reported on September 22.
A BBC report says the US “is taking ‘seriously’ Vladimir Putin's veiled threats to use nuclear weapons to defend areas in Ukraine,” the primary British propaganda service reported, also on September 22
.
European Union Foreign Policy boss Josep Borrell said after a meeting of EU foreign ministers at the UN General Assembly meeting in New York
that Putin’s warnings that he would use “all weapons systems available to us” to defend Russian territory from NATO attack are genuine. The threat of nuclear war, Borrell said, “is a real danger to the whole world, and the international community must react.” However, Borrell made clear that the EU plans to accelerate delivery of billions of euros in weapons to the far-right Ukrainian regime, which has repeatedly attacked Russian-speaking areas of the country.
In other words, Borrell is urging more weapons be given to Ukraine’s ultranationalists so they might continue bombarding the Donbass (current death toll, 14,000 souls) following the referendum, ensuring a strong reaction by Russia.
The firing of strategic nuclear weapons by Russia and the NATO powers would lead to hundreds of millions of deaths at the very least and possibly the destruction of humanity. A Russian RS-28 strategic nuclear missile carries 15 independently-targetable warheads, each with an explosive yield of up to 25 megatons of TNT. That is over a thousand times the power of the US nuclear bombs that annihilated the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.
Left unmentioned, of course, is the fact the United States is the only country brutal enough to use nuclear weapons, as it did in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, mentioned above, killing hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians.
